One Financial Plaza, today home of Stifel Financial, was built by Edison Brothers Stores to serve as its headquarters. The retailer moved to the new tower from the building that’s now Gallery 400 apartments.
Ted Jones’ daily commute from Williamsburg, Missouri to the Cotton Belt Building was 90 miles each way.
According to St. Louis County, the building is 508,277 sf.
